PJ's Theatre School  - Aims

 

To develop children's social skills, co-ordination, discipline, self-confidence and technique, whilst having fun in a safe and controlled environment.

Structured classes designed to develop and strengthen a variety of dance styles and techniques.

This allows students to participate in examinations and live performances.

We have excellent pass rate for tests & examinations

with a fabulous award System

Visits from educational professional workshops,

Participate in local displays, carnivals & competitions

 Performances locally, both on and off the Island, appearances on TV, London's West End & The Royal Albert Hall.

Remember not everyone likes to perform.

Therefore it is not our policy to make show times & examinations compulsory.

You may do as much or as little as you please as long as you enjoy it !

I was professionally trained on the mainland in Leicestershire at the 

"Dupont Stage school"

I have appeared in many local semi & professional productions at the

"Haymarket Theatre" and "The little Theatre" and the

"Loughborough Town Hall Theatre"

At the age of 17 Started professional work and have travelled world wide,

the Far East - Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Tiawan,

Middle East - Abu-Dhabi and Dubai

Europe - Spain, Portugal

Southern Ireland and all over the UK

Singing and Dancing in Theatres, Clubs, Hotels & Holiday Centres

and for the past 12 years on the Isle of Wight singing as a live duo with husband Mark as  "Short n Sweet"

gaining many experiences which I now hope to pass on to my students.

PJ's have already acheived 100% examination pass rate over the past 14 years of which I am very proud of, we have also appeared at "O2 Arena" London, "Her Majestys Theatre" in Londons West End, the "Royal Albert Hall" and BBC Cbeebies "Take a Bow" I like to produce an Annual Show performed at "Medina Theatre" Newport. We are a very Child friendly "all round" Theatre school
