Typical Lesson Plans
BALLET
Provides children with a strong foundation for most dance disciplines. It helps develop posture, muscle tone, flexibility, core strength and rhythm as well as offering discipline and focus. Music & warm-up, barre-work, arms, adage, allegro, dance & mime.
Tap shoes are a necessity to help with the correct sounds creating rhythm & beats. Warm-up, rhythm, barre-work, centre-work & techniques.
MODERN
General warm-up, muscle groups & isolations, floor work, combinations of steps across the floor, jumps & spins, dance routine, stretch & cool down.
MUSICAL THEATRE CLASS
Drama games, short plays, poems, sketches, miming, acting skills & script reading. Simple dance routines to accompany theatrical songs, singing techniques.
POP PERFORMERS
Come and sing along to your favourite pop song (Karaoke style class), learn to sing with a real microphone,learn some valuable singing techniques & maybe even record your own CD .
UNI-TED CLASS
Uni-ted is our world famous dancing teddy-bear who likes to achieve badges & awards so bring your favourite bear with you ! Basic dance training in ballet, tap & modern, designed especially for ages 2 to 5yrs with popular songs & lots of fun.
DANCING TOTS
Parent & Toddler - Pre-school movement to music from 18 months to 4 yrs with Scarf & parachute play included.(Parent must accompany child)
HIP/HOP & STREET DANCE
These classes are only available when our teacher Rebecca is home between professional contracts. Please watch the website for more info.

During the School Holidays
PJ's run various WORKSHOPS including dance classes & Glee like days (Musical theatre sessions where the children get the oppotunity to record thier own CD) at venues around the Island for Extended School services. Please see seperate page for more information.

Due to the popularity and the lack of places of the above 2 classes i will be dividing them into 3 classes over the next couple of weeks. ( starting Jan 2012) Please be patient whilst we assess each child.

PLEASE NOTE - PAYMENT MUST BE MADE BEFORE EACH CLASS COMMENCES
THERE ARE NO CONCESSIONS FOR MULTIPLE CLASSES
AND NO TEA OR COFFEE FACILITES AT ANY VENUE
Parents are requested by the VENUES not to loiter in the reception, corridors or any public areas. You may sit quietly at the back of your Childs class or you can drop them off and collect them at the end of their session.
