Typical Lesson Plan: BALLET : music & warm-up, barre-work, arms, adage, allegro, dance & mime. TAP : warm-up, rhythm, barre-work, centre-work & techniques. MODERN : general warm-up, muscle groups & isolations, floor work, combinations of steps across the floor, jumps & spins, dance routine, stretch & cool down. HIP/HOP : This is our new syllabus which now offers examinations, techniques include, popping, locking, tutting, robot, krumping & street dance all the latest moves, it's awesome ! THEATRE CLASS : songs from the musicals, singing & breathing techniques, pop songs & microphone technique, drama, short plays, poems, sketches, miming & acting skills, simple dance routines to accompany theatrical songs. CHEER-LEADING : Starting new class sept '09 warm-up, techniques & chants, stunt work & lifts, work with pom-poms - no experience needed just lots of fun & enthusiasm ! UNI-TED CLASS : uni-ted is our world famous dancing teddy-bear who likes to achieve badges & awards so bring your favourite bear with you ! Basic dance training in ballet, tap & modern, designed especially for ages 3 to 6yrs with popular songs & lots of fun. MELODY BEAR : new classes starting sept '09 please see separate advert. Pre-school movement to music from 18 months to 5 yrs with Melody bear- Scarf & parachute play included.
